In the garden I painted a huge Pvc with a revised version of “Mount Rushmore”
Thaks to Ivan and jacopo for the setting up of the Pvc which was 5×20 meters wide.

Pop Up show at My Own gallery. The store featured  a catalogue of the show “Mash Up” edited by Skira, a limited edition of 50 pieces of red ceramics of Tvboy and Nico and a range of the TVBOY line tee shirts and many limited edition goodies made with La Rinascente.

Zumbini 6 – Creative Landings
“La Cordata” association in Milan, invited me and the Art Kitchen Collective to reinvent their Hotel and trasform it into a brand new space for young people.
After several brainstorming we finally worked out the concept of the “Creative Landings” and figured out a place divided into three main sections “The Lighthouse”, “The Harbour” and the “Dock”.
I was the one in charge of the creativity and visuals so I took ispiration from the classic mith of the “Odyssey” and reinvented it through my illustration.
The greek island “Ithaka” was trasformed in a idyllic place where Penelope, Uysses and Polyphemus where surfers sorrounded by sirens.

LA RINASCENTE ITALY

La Rinascente Denim Cities
La Rinascente Department Stores in Italy committed me five artworks
inspired to the cities of Rio, London, New York, Paris and Tokio to be displayed
in their windows for the promotion of the Spring Summer 2010 Denim Collections.
The artworks were displayed in all italian stores among which Torino, Padova,
Genova, Firenze, Roma, Milano, Catania and Cagliari.
In the photos: New York, London, Paris, Tokio and Palermo seen by Tvboy.

LA RINASCENTE MILANO

LA RINASCENTE DUOMO MILANO
Coinciding with Tvboy’s show at Superstudio Piú in May we displayed 4 new artworks inspired to the “Affiches” of La Rinascente and to authors such as M.Dudovich in the windows of La Rinascente Duomo. Via Redegonda.

I also had an out post corner shop at the -1 floor (Design Supermarket) of La Rinascente Duomo Milano. The store featured a limited edition collection of tee shirt designed exclusively for La Rinascente and many gadgets and surprises.

La Rinascente which was one of the sponsor of my last exhibion in Milan realized a Limited Edition collection of teeshirts, accessories and stationery sold at the pop up shop of the exhibition and in La Rinacente Duomo Milan. Here a sneak peak preview.

TVBOY MASH UP VIDEO

Tvboy Mash Up Video
A Short videoclip made for Mash Up Exhibition realized by the directors Marco Proserpio and Thomas Murphy. The video was recorded in Milan during the month of Abril 2010 and the techinque used in this video is called pixelation (made frame by frame).
Thanks to Marco and Thomas made an excellent work!

La rinascente Palermo
La Rinascente heads invited me together with Jacopo from Art Kitchen to spend an amazing weekend in Palermo. During two days I had to paint live a 6×3 meters illustration inspired on my hometown for the opening of the new flagship store in Via Roma … Thanks to all the peole and friends who passed by and stayed with us…
If you’re going to visit the city be sure to taste Sfunciuni, Pane e Panelle and Panino ‘cca Mieusa..

During my last personal exhibition called “Mash Up” at Superstudio Piú in Milan, the company Skira published the catalogue of his works with an introduction text by the curator of the show Jacopo Perfetti, a brief history of my career through photos and commentaries from renown art personalities such as Philippe Daverio, Elio Fiorucci & more.

Superego is an italian company focused on the production of design objects and ceramic sculptures created by some of the most important designers such as Alessandro Mendini, Andrea Branzi, Angelo Mangiarotti, Sergio Asti, Ugo La Pietra etc.
In 2008 Superego decided to launch a new serie with some of the renown emerging street art and lowbrow artist such as Ron English, Jeremy Fish, Tvboy, Bo130, Microbo,

CHRIST – BURGOS 2009

BURGOS 2009
The city council of Burgos in the Northern Spain commited me a big scale wallpainting to celebrate the Aniversary of the Cathedral since it achieved the status of Patrimony of Humanity. The theme I had to work on had to be inspired on the theme of Paradise.The wall was huge (20 mt wide for 8 tall) and near to the city centre.
On my arrive I have been told by Luan the organizer about a local history of a Christ sculpture found beneah the sea. So this was the final result.
